How to use Bavian as an agency
Updated 20 October 2026
Bavian works for agencies too, not only for businesses that run their own ads. You can look after all your clients' Google Ads from one Bavian login.
In Bavian, each website you manage is called a project. So every client becomes a project of its own, connected to that client's Google Ads account.
There are two ways to give Bavian access to a client's account: through your agency's manager account (MCC), or with access the client gives your Google login directly.
Add a client
Add new clients while you're signed in to Bavian as the owner, the person marked Owner under Team on the Account page.
That matters because a client a colleague adds ends up in the colleague's own Bavian account instead of your agency's. Your subscription doesn't cover it there, and the rest of your team can't see it.
- In Bavian, click the name of the current project in the menu, and choose Create new project.
- Enter the client's website.
- On Connect your Google Ads account, click Connect and sign in with the Google login that has access to the client's account.
- Under Choose the Google Ads account to manage, choose the client's account.
- Go through the remaining setup steps for the client.
Through your manager account (MCC)
Sign in with the Google login you use for your manager account. Bavian then lists all the client accounts under it, and you choose the one for this client.
The manager account itself isn't in the list, because it can't run ads.
Through direct access
If the client's account isn't linked to your manager account, the client can invite you into their Google Ads account instead.
Someone with Admin access to the client's account adds the email address you sign in to Google with, under Admin → Access and security in Google Ads. They should give you Standard or Admin access, because Bavian needs to make changes in the account. Google then emails you an invitation, which you accept.
After that, the client's account shows up in the list in step 4, along with any accounts under your manager account. If it's the only account your login has access to, Bavian connects it straight away.
Good to know
- One project per Google Ads account: if another project in Bavian already has the account, the list shows it as Already managed by another project, and you can't choose it.
- Your subscription includes three ad accounts. When they're all in use and you click Turn on Autopilot for another client, you're first asked to add one more account to your subscription. Only the owner can do that.
- The campaigns Bavian creates in Google Ads have names that start with "Bavian". To use your agency's name instead, switch on Whitelabel campaigns on the Account page, make sure Company name shows your agency's name and click Save. New campaigns then get your agency's name. Only the owner can change this.
- Invite your colleagues under Team on the Account page. The owner enters the colleague's email address and clicks Send invite. Colleagues can work on campaigns and budgets, while things like billing and the team itself are for the owner.
