Bavian

Does Bavian automatically exclude out-of-stock products?

Updated 19 October 2026

No, and it doesn't need to. Google itself doesn't show products that your feed marks as out of stock, in Shopping or in Performance Max campaigns. They stay in Bavian's campaigns and can show again as soon as your feed says they're back in stock, with nothing to do in Bavian.

On the Shopping page, a sold-out product is marked Not eligible with the reason Out of stock. That's Google's status as of Bavian's last check. The Agent page may also count these products among those that can't serve. If they really are sold out, there's nothing to fix.

Keep sold-out products in your feed

Don't delete a product from your feed just because it's sold out for a while. A product you remove and add again takes time before it can show again, both in Google and in Bavian's campaigns. Mark it as out of stock instead.

If a sold-out product still shows ads

  1. In Merchant Center, open the product and check its availability.
  2. If it says in stock, set it to out of stock where your products come from, such as your shop or your feed tool.
  3. Make sure your shop or feed tool updates Merchant Center often enough.

Bavian doesn't change availability, so it's always fixed at the source.
