Can my Google Ads send visitors to a specific page instead of my homepage?

Yes. In the Search campaigns Bavian builds, each ad group sends visitors to the page on your site that fits its keywords best, picked from your sitemap. If no page fits, it uses your homepage. Campaigns Bavian took over keep the pages you've set.

Set the page yourself

Once Autopilot is on, you can choose the page for an ad group:

1. In Bavian, open Ad variants in the menu and expand the ad group.
2. Under Landing page, click Edit landing page.
3. Type the full address, starting with https://, and click Save.

Open the page first to check that it works. After you save, Bavian leaves the page as you set it, unless Google rejects it. You can also change it in Google Ads.

Good to know

• If an ad group has several ads, set the page on each one.
• Bavian may move an ad group it built to a better page if Google rejects the page it chose, or rates it below average.
• Bavian sends ads in brand and competitor campaigns to your homepage.
• Shopping ads link to each product's page from your Merchant Center feed.
