Does Bavian create new campaigns and ads automatically?

Yes. As it manages your account, Bavian creates new campaigns and writes and improves ads on its own, always within your total daily budget.

Campaigns

When you start, Bavian builds campaigns if there's nothing in your Google Ads account to take over: a Search campaign for what you sell and one for your brand, plus a Shopping campaign for an online store.

Later, Bavian may add campaigns where they would pay off. For example, it may give your brand searches a campaign of their own, add Shopping campaigns for groups of your products, or add a Search campaign for searches your current campaigns don't cover.

The campaigns Bavian creates have names that start with "Bavian", or your agency's name, so you can tell them apart in Google Ads.

Ads

In Search campaigns, Bavian writes new text ads and rewrites weak ones, adds ad groups and keywords, and adds missing sitelinks, callouts and structured snippets. In Performance Max campaigns, it adds headlines, descriptions and search themes. It doesn't make ads for Display, Video or Demand Gen campaigns.

Ads you write, edit or pause yourself, in Bavian or in Google Ads, stay as you left them, unless something new comes up that costs you money or breaks a rule.

What waits for your yes

In Autopilot mode, these wait for your approval on the Agent page:

• a new Search campaign that nobody asked for, other than a brand or competitor campaign;
• removing a campaign, ad group or ad;
• some new ads Bavian suggests for weak or missing ads in campaigns it took over.

Adding a campaign yourself

If Bavian built your campaigns, you can add a Brand or Competitor campaign with Create campaign on the Campaigns page. See How to create a new campaign. On an account Bavian took over, ask for a new Search campaign in the chat on the Agent page instead.
