What happens if my payment fails?
Updated 20 October 2026
If your Bavian payment fails, your campaigns keep running, but Bavian pauses its changes. If your Google Ads payment fails, Google may stop showing your ads. The two are separate payments. See What do I pay Bavian, and what do I pay Google?
Your Bavian payment fails
Your campaigns keep running, but Bavian pauses its changes until the payment goes through. It still keeps your campaigns within your total daily budget and keeps Google's auto-apply recommendations switched off. Work already started can finish.
To fix it, the owner opens the Account page in Bavian and updates the card under Change payment & VAT, or pays the open invoice under Previous invoices. Don't subscribe again, because that would start a second subscription.

Your Google Ads payment fails
Google bills your ad spend directly, so Bavian can't see or fix it. If Google can't charge you, it may stop showing your ads until the payment goes through. Fix it under Billing in Google Ads. See Google's Resolve a declined payment in Google Ads.
