What do I pay Bavian, and what do I pay Google?
Updated 20 October 2026
You pay two separate bills. Bavian charges a fixed subscription for managing your ads, and Google charges you for the ads themselves, directly, as it always has.
What you pay Bavian
The Autopilot subscription costs $150 a month, or $1,500 a year, which works out at $125 a month. It covers three managed ad accounts, meaning three Google Ads accounts that Bavian manages, across all the projects in your Bavian account. Each account after that costs $50 a month, or $500 a year if you pay yearly.
The price doesn't depend on how much you spend on ads, and Bavian never takes a percentage of your ad spend. Bavian's CSS for Shopping ads is included in the Autopilot subscription at no extra cost, where Google offers CSS, which is in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT. Any VAT is calculated automatically and added on top at checkout, where you can also enter your company's VAT number. After that, the owner can add or change it under Change payment & VAT on the Account page in Bavian.
The initial analysis and the start plan are free. You pay when you click Turn on Autopilot, through a secure checkout, and only the owner can do that. For each account after the first three, the owner ticks the box to add a managed ad account when turning on Autopilot for it, and it's charged the same day for the rest of the billing period.
What you pay Google
Google bills your ad spend through the billing set up in your Google Ads account, just like before. It never goes through Bavian, and you find Google's invoices and statements in Google Ads under Billing, then Documents.
What Google charges depends on your campaigns' daily budgets, which Bavian sets from your total daily budget, as explained in How does Bavian’s budget limit work?
If you cancel or a payment fails
- To cancel, the owner clicks Cancel subscription on the Account page. Bavian keeps managing your account until the end of the period you've paid for, and Resume subscription undoes it until then. After that, your campaigns keep running and Google keeps charging for them, so pause them in Google Ads if you want the ads to stop.
- If a payment fails, your campaigns keep running, but Bavian does nothing until the payment goes through. The owner can update the payment method under Change payment & VAT, or pay the open invoice under Previous invoices.
Good to know
- You pay Bavian on the Account page shows what you pay, including any discount.
- The owner can switch from monthly to yearly billing on the Account page. The year is charged straight away, less credit for the rest of the month, and you can't switch back there.
- If you no longer need an extra account, the owner clicks Stop managing next to one of your ad accounts on the Account page, and then Remove. That account's campaigns keep running in Google Ads. The price drops from your next invoice, and nothing is refunded.
- The owner finds Bavian's invoices under Previous invoices on the Account page.
