Do I still own my Google Ads account and data?

Yes. Your Google Ads account stays yours, with its campaigns, history and billing. Bavian works in it through the Google login you connect, and Google keeps billing you for your ads directly.

What Bavian does in your account

Bavian is never added as a user or manager of your Google Ads account. It doesn't look at or change who has access to the account, and it doesn't change your billing settings.

It builds and changes campaigns, and a few settings for the whole account, such as which conversions count and Google's auto-apply recommendations, which it switches off. You can follow what it does in the Activity feed on Insights, on the Agent page, and in Google Ads' own change history.

Bavian claims no intellectual property rights to your data or to what it produces for you. Its terms do let it use anonymous, general information about how you use Bavian to develop the product.

If you stop using Bavian

Only the owner can stop managing, cancel or disconnect.

• Stop managing on the Account page changes nothing in Google Ads: Bavian stops working in the account at once, and your campaigns keep running and spending as it left them. Cancel subscription does the same at the end of your current period.
• Disconnect on the Connections page also removes the Shopping campaigns Bavian built from Google Ads for good. All your other campaigns keep running. Disconnect doesn't cancel your subscription.

What Bavian stores

To manage your ads, Bavian stores:

• your name and email address,
• a daily copy of your Google Ads figures, plus who changed what in the campaigns Bavian manages,
• a copy of your products, if you run a webshop,
• the business details and notes you can see and edit in Bavian, and its own notes, analyses and reports about your account,
• your chats with Bavian, including what you say to it by voice, which is kept as text and never recorded.

Deleting a project deletes most of its data, but not your chats with Bavian, and it removes the Shopping campaigns Bavian built. There's no button to delete your whole Bavian account or to export your data, so email support@bavian.com to have your data deleted or sent to you. The privacy policy lists your rights, such as access, deletion and data portability.
