How do I fix conversion tracking issues detected by Bavian?
Updated 20 October 2026
Once Autopilot is on, Bavian checks your conversion tracking every day and shows what it finds on the Agent page, next to Account. Some issues it can fix itself. Others only you can fix, because they're in your website's tracking code or in your Google Ads settings.
Fix an issue
- On Bavian's Agent page, click the text next to Account, for example "2 to look at".
- Where it says "The agent can fix this", click Fix it for me.
- Where it says "Only you can fix this", click Show me how and follow the steps in Google Ads or on your site, or send them to whoever runs your tracking.
- When you're done, click Done — check again.
If Bavian is paused, resume it first. In Approval mode, a fix waits for your yes.
What Bavian looks for
- No conversion tracking at all, or no active conversion actions.
- Tracking it can't trust, for example two primary actions that may count the same sale twice, or a page view set as a primary conversion.
- Four or more primary conversion actions.
What Bavian can and can't fix
Bavian can change which conversion actions steer your bidding (primary or secondary) and how they count. A secondary action is still recorded, but it no longer steers bidding. Bavian can't change your website's tracking code or your analytics.
To check that your tracking tag works, use Google's Tag Assistant.
