Can I start with Bavian if I have never run Google Ads before?

Yes. You don't need any experience with Google Ads, but a few steps in Google are yours, because Bavian can't create a Google Ads account for you.

Before you connect

1. Create a Google Ads account at ads.google.com. If Google asks you to create a campaign, look for the option to create the account without one. A campaign made there means Bavian takes it over instead of building its own Search campaigns.
2. Add your billing details in Google Ads. Until the account is fully set up, Bavian shows Your Google Ads account isn't active or Not active in Google Ads, and you can't connect it.
3. For an online store, set up Google Merchant Center with your product feed and link it to your Google Ads account.

What Bavian does

Once you've connected the account, Bavian plans your first campaigns and builds them when you turn on Autopilot: a Search campaign for what you sell and one for your brand, plus a Shopping campaign for an online store, with ads and keywords. There's no analysis to wait for, because there are no campaigns to analyse.

Good to know

• Google charges your ads to the payment method in your Google Ads account. See What do I pay Bavian, and what do I pay Google?
• Google may ask you to verify your business. That's done in Google Ads.
• To count sales or leads, your website needs conversion tracking. Once Autopilot is on, Bavian's Conversions page creates the code, and you install it on your site.
• Google reviews new ads before they start showing.
