Why hasn't Bavian made any changes lately?

Bavian checks your Google Ads account every day, but it only makes a change when it sees a reason to. So a quiet stretch in the log doesn't mean Bavian has stopped working.

For the first five days, the Activity feed on Insights shows each day's note, also on days Bavian changed nothing. After that, it sums up each week every Monday. The Agent page shows Bavian's work from about the last three weeks.

Ask Bavian

Bavian keeps a note of every daily check, quiet days included, and can tell you what it found. In the chat on the Agent page, ask for example: "What have you checked in my account lately, and why haven't you changed anything?" See How do I ask Bavian about my own account?

Check that nothing is holding Bavian back

• Paused: the agent is paused and makes no changes. Click Resume on the Agent page.
• Approval: in Approval mode, the changes Bavian starts itself wait for your yes above the message box on the Agent page. Unanswered ones expire after 10 days.
• Needs you: Bavian is waiting for an answer, or for something only you can do.
• No active Google Ads connection: Bavian has lost access to your account. Click Reconnect Google Ads.
• A failed payment: Bavian does nothing until the payment goes through. The owner, the person marked Owner under Team on the Account page, can update the card under Change payment & VAT there.
