Will Bavian's changes put my campaigns back into Google's learning period?
Updated 27 October 2026
Some can, such as switching a campaign to another bid strategy.
How Bavian keeps your account steady
- It usually leaves a campaign's budget as it is when the change would be small.
- When several campaigns change close together, it usually divides your total daily budget again once, not once per campaign.
- It judges whether a change worked only after the campaign has had time to adjust: a budget move after a week, and a new Performance Max campaign after about six weeks.
- It doesn't move a campaign to bidding for conversions when your account records no conversions for Google to learn from.
Good to know
- The start is usually the biggest change, because Bavian carries out its start plan across your campaigns straight away.
- Bavian shows each change it makes, and why, on the Agent page. See How do I ask Bavian about my own account?
