How do I copy my Google Ads campaigns to Microsoft Ads (Bing)?
Updated 26 October 2026
Use the Google import in Microsoft Advertising. It copies your campaigns, keywords, negative keywords and ads from Google Ads to Microsoft Ads and changes nothing in Google Ads.
Bavian doesn't run Microsoft Ads yet, so the copied campaigns are yours to manage there.
Before you start
- A Microsoft Advertising account.
- A UET tag on your website and at least one conversion goal in Microsoft Advertising. Without a goal, the import switches conversion bidding to a strategy that doesn't need conversions.
- For Shopping campaigns: a Microsoft Merchant Center store with your products, which you link during the import.
Copy your campaigns
- In Microsoft Advertising, hover over Import in the left menu and select Import from Google Ads.
- Select Customize, then Sign in to Google with the Google account you use for Google Ads.
- Under Choose accounts, select the Google Ads account Bavian manages, then Next.
- Select Advanced import and choose the campaigns you want to copy.
- Under Bids and budgets, choose whether to copy your Google Ads budgets.
- Enter a name and set the schedule to Daily or Weekly to keep copying the changes Bavian makes, or to Now for a one-off copy.
- Select Save.
Good to know
- With Update existing campaign budgets on, scheduled imports can copy the budgets Bavian sets in Google Ads. Turn it off to set your own budgets in Microsoft Advertising.
- With Updates to existing items on, campaign status follows Google Ads, so a campaign paused only in Microsoft Advertising can be switched back on by a later import.
- Not everything carries over, such as some bid strategies and audiences. Check each import, and pause or delete the schedule, under Import schedule & history. Deleting the schedule leaves the copied campaigns in Microsoft Advertising.
