How can my agency test Bavian on one client account first?
Updated 27 October 2026
Connect through your manager account (MCC) and choose only the client account you want to test. Bavian works only in that account, and nothing changes in it until you turn on Autopilot.
Set up the test
- Sign up for Bavian.
- On Connect your Google Ads account, click Connect and sign in with the Google login you use for your manager account.
- Under Choose the Google Ads account to manage, choose the client's account.
- Read Bavian's Initial analysis on the Insights page. It shows what's wrong in the account, what Bavian would do first and how the campaigns would start. It's free.
- When you're ready, click Turn on Autopilot in the Start Autopilot box.
Google's permission covers every account your login can open, but Bavian changes nothing in the accounts you don't choose. See Can I connect just one of the Google Ads accounts my login can access?
During the test
- Bavian takes over every campaign in the account that it can manage, so test on an account you're happy to hand over as a whole. See Can I start Autopilot on a few selected campaigns first?
- Write the client's rules in Memory, under Context in the menu, for example "Don't change our conversion settings".
- The Agent page shows what Bavian does and why. Ask Bavian in the chat there about anything you're unsure of, and correct it with a rule, or ask it to roll a change back.
Our tip is to keep Autopilot on and follow along like this. You see Bavian work on the whole account from day one, and you correct course as you go.
When you add more clients
Turning on Autopilot starts your subscription: $150 a month, excluding VAT, which includes three managed ad accounts, so your next two clients cost nothing extra. Each one after that costs $50 a month. Add each client as a new project: click the name of the current project in the menu, and choose Create new project.
Good to know
- Only the owner, the person marked Owner under Team on the Account page, can pay.
- If you'd rather approve each change the agent starts itself, see What is the difference between Approval Mode and Autopilot?
