Is the Free plan read-only, or can Bavian change my Google Ads account?
On the Free plan, Bavian only reads your Google Ads account. It changes nothing until you turn on Autopilot.
What are Bavian's company details?
Bavian is run by a registered Danish company. Here are its name, VAT number and address, and where you can look them up.

What do I pay Bavian, and what do I pay Google?
You pay Bavian a fixed subscription, and you pay Google for your ads directly, as you do today. Bavian never takes a share of your ad spend.
What does the free Google Ads analysis include?
A written review of your Google Ads account on the Insights page: what's wrong, what looks fine, whether your numbers can be trusted, and how Bavian would start. It's free and changes nothing.
What happens if I use an external product feed management tool?
It works with Bavian. Bavian reads your products from Merchant Center, whatever tool puts them there, and only adds one custom label. Tick any new data source in Bavian.
What happens if my payment fails?
If your Bavian subscription payment fails, your campaigns keep running but Bavian pauses its changes. If Google can't charge you for your ads, Google may stop showing them.
What happens to my campaigns if I disconnect Bavian?
Your own campaigns keep running as Bavian left them. Disconnecting removes the Shopping campaigns Bavian built and most of Bavian's data for that account, and doesn't cancel your subscription.
What happens to my existing campaigns when Bavian takes over?
Bavian keeps your campaigns, with their names, ads and history, and manages them from the day you turn on Autopilot. The start plan shows how each one starts.
What is a Google passkey?
A passkey lets you sign in to Google with your fingerprint, face or screen lock. Google may ask for one when you connect Google Ads to Bavian, so it's worth setting up before you start.
What is the difference between Approval Mode and Autopilot?
In Autopilot mode, Bavian makes most changes on its own. In Approval mode, every change the agent starts itself waits for your yes. You switch on the Agent page.
What permissions does Bavian need?
Bavian needs access to manage your Google Ads account, and to your Merchant Center if you run a webshop. Here's what each permission is for, and how to remove it.
What risk do I take by giving Bavian access to my Google Ads account?
Google's permission lets Bavian change your Google Ads account, so the limits come from Bavian itself: your total daily budget, what it never touches, and what you can see, approve and undo.
What should I do if I cannot log in to Bavian?
Bavian has no password. You sign in with Google or with a code we email you, and most problems come down to which email address you use.
What should I do with Google Ads recommendations when using Bavian?
Leave them to Bavian. It switches off Google's auto-applied recommendations and weighs Google's suggestions itself. Apply one yourself only if you want that change to be your own.
Where can I see my results, ad spend and reports?
Your results and ad spend are on the Insights page, with more detail on the Campaigns page. Bavian's own reports, including a monthly report, are in the Activity feed under the chart.
Where can I see the changes Bavian has made?
Bavian's changes show up in the Activity feed on the Insights page, on the Agent page, and in Google Ads' own change history.
Where can I see which searches triggered my ads?
The Search terms page lists the searches that showed your ads, with clicks, cost and conversions. You can download the list and block searches that don't fit.
Which campaign types can Bavian manage?
Once Autopilot is on, Bavian manages every campaign in your Google Ads account, whatever its type, with a few exceptions.
Which conversions does Bavian optimise for?
Mainly the conversion actions set as primary in your Google Ads account. Bavian also checks which of them are real results, such as sales and leads, and which are only page views or basket steps.
