Answers and guides for getting the most out of Bavian.

• Can I switch my Bavian subscription from monthly to yearly?

  Yes. The owner switches to yearly billing on the Account page. A year costs $1,500 instead of $1,800, so you get two months free, and extra accounts switch too.

• Can I try Bavian on my Google Ads account before I pay?

  Partly. Connecting your account, Bavian's analysis and its start plan are free and change nothing. There's no free trial of Autopilot, which you pay for when you turn it on.

• Can my Google Ads send visitors to a specific page instead of my homepage?

  Yes. Bavian sends each ad group it builds to the page on your site that fits it best, and you can set the page yourself for an ad group on the Ad variants page.

• Do I keep my own Merchant Center feed, rules and history with Bavian CSS?

  Yes. Moving to Bavian's CSS changes which CSS your Merchant Center account belongs to. Your feeds, rules, products and history stay as they are.

• Do I still own my Google Ads account and data?

  Yes. Your Google Ads account, campaigns and history stay yours. Bavian works in the account through your Google login, and you can remove its access at any time.

• Does Bavian add new keywords, and which match types does it use?

  Yes. Bavian adds keywords for searches that have proved they bring results. It mostly uses exact and phrase match, and adds broad match only where conversion tracking can be trusted.

• Does Bavian automatically exclude out-of-stock products?

  It doesn't need to. Google doesn't show products marked as out of stock in Shopping or Performance Max ads. Keep them in your feed, and they come back once they're in stock.

• Does Bavian check my conversion tracking before it changes bids?

  Yes. Every day Bavian checks whether your conversion tracking can be trusted, and holds back bidding changes that depend on it when it can't.

• Does Bavian create new campaigns and ads automatically?

  Yes. Bavian builds campaigns and writes ads as it manages your account, always within your total daily budget. A few bigger steps wait for your yes.

• Does Bavian manage Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram) as well as Google Ads?

  No. Bavian manages Google Ads only. It doesn't read or change your Facebook or Instagram ads, and your Meta spend isn't part of your total daily budget.

• Does Bavian offer Google Ads consultancy?

  Not as a separate service. To keep Bavian affordable, the expertise is built into Autopilot, which manages your Google Ads every day, and you can ask Bavian about your own account in the chat.

• Does Bavian offer online demos?

  Partly. You can book a free call where we guide you by phone while you have Bavian open on your own screen, to see if it fits your business and to get you off to a good start.

• Does Bavian use conversion value or only the number of conversions?

  Both. When your conversions carry a value, Bavian looks at the return on ad spend when it divides your budget. Without values, it looks at the cost per conversion.

• Does Bavian work with Smart Bidding strategies like target CPA and Maximize Conversions?

  Yes. Campaigns Bavian takes over keep their bidding strategy, and Bavian adjusts their targets. Search campaigns it builds usually start on Maximize clicks and move to Maximize conversions once they have enough conversions.

• Does my Bavian subscription renew automatically?

  Yes. Your subscription renews automatically every month, or every year if you pay yearly, until you cancel it. Here's how renewal works and how to stop it.

• How do I activate Autopilot?

  You turn on Autopilot in the Start Autopilot box at the bottom of the Insights page. Without a subscription, the owner pays first. Bavian then starts managing your Google Ads account within minutes.

• How do I activate Bavian CSS?

  Move your Shopping ads to Bavian's CSS from the Shopping page. Bavian sends the request to Google, a Merchant Center admin approves it in Merchant Center, and the switch is done within about 14 days.

• How do I add more Google Ads accounts to Bavian?

  Create a new project for each Google Ads account, all under the same Bavian login. Your subscription includes three managed ad accounts, and each one after that costs $50 a month.

• How do I ask Bavian about my own account?

  Ask Bavian in the chat on the Agent page. Once Autopilot is on, it can tell you what it has done in your account, what it's working on and why.
